Bradley Bakotic

Dr. Bradley Bakotic serves as an anatomic and clinical pathologist at Southern Ohio Medical Center. Working in a temporary role at this nonprofit community hospital since March 2025, he draws on decades of medical experience to enhance the hospital’s pathology services. Prior to relocating to Ohio, Dr. Bradley Bakotic lived in Texas, where he treated patients at USA Pathology in Denison.  

Dr. Bakotic previously served as director of the Institute for Podiatric Pathology in Pompano Beach, Florida. The recipient of two medical degrees, in osteopathic medicine (DO) and podiatry (DPM), he is the only physician with podiatric training in the United States to also maintain board certifications in anatomic pathology, clinical pathology, and dermatopathology. He is licensed to practice medicine in seven states and began his career more than two decades ago at practices in Dallas, Texas, and Pensacola, Florida.

Beyond his work as a physician, Dr. Bradley Bakotic is an experienced organizational leader who is the founder of a nonprofit that provided textbooks to aspiring dermatologists and other medical professionals. His background has also seen him co-found Bako Integrated Physician Solutions. The company, which he guided as CEO for nine years, has become a leader in partnering with physicians to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services for medical issues involving the lower extremity.  

Dr. Bradley Bakotic has educated his fellow physicians on topics at the intersection of pathology, podiatry, and dermatology at more than a thousand educational meetings and professional gatherings. As a keynote speaker, he has spoken at conferences of the Canadian Podiatric Medical Association, the Australian Podiatric Medical Association, and the International Podiatric Medical Association among others.

Dr. Bakotic’s research has largely focused on advancing knowledge in matters related to the lower extremity. He is the author of dozens of articles, the majority of which have appeared in peer-reviewed journals, and has served on the editorial boards of podiatry and dermatopathology journals.
